To continue to put our values in action by…
..... developing the role of our teachers as tutors so that we further improve the care and guidance we give to every student;
….. reviewing and developing our curriculum in years 9-11 to better meet the needs of students and reflect our agreed values;
….. enhancing Island School as a Centre of Research for a Learning community;
….. defining a school mission and reviewing our school aims so that there is better alignment between what we say we value and what we aim to do;
….. working with other stakeholder groups and the wider foundation to define a vision for the new Island School that best reflects our values and vision for teaching and learning;
…. developing service opportunities for all our students;
….. consolidate our use of learning technologies and connected learning to ensure that our practice in this area aligns with our values and supports our vision for teaching and learning;
….. doing all we can to develop our students as independent, critical and curious learners;
….. developing and improving our school site so that it supports all that we aim for in our teaching and learning.
